Outside my window…beautiful weather with a nice cool breeze

I am thinking…I have to hurry up and send out those wedding invitations!

I am thankful for…my health

From the kitchen…making a bunch of chicken!  Going to have chicken tacos tonight, and make chicken salad with the rest!

I am wearing…the most comfortable dark grey capris (danskin), black SNL tshirt and my flip flops still

I am creating…an organization/$ saving/cleaning binder for myself

I am going…sweep and mop the wood floors!

I am reading…yeah still  need to get back into that…

I am hoping…to start scanning pics for wedding slideshow soon!

I am hearing…the relaxing and calm sounds of the wind chimes blowing in the wind

Around the house…it is nice and silent…kids are at preschool!

One of my favorite things…is scrapbooking!..i really need to make time for it

A few plans for the rest of the week:  not a whole lot going on…cleaning house, bringing kids to school…and Sunday in Falcon at parental units house for Labor Day BBQ with the fam!

Make sure you cook your eggs!!

So i haven’t been on here in over a week…had a lil incident.  I wanted over-easy eggs, cooked them (so I thought) and ate about half of them.  Well turns out i had a lil spell of salmonella from the lil bit of raw egg that i had eaten!  And those are the walmart 30 pack eggs, just so everyone knows.  That brand was not included in the egg recall…believe me, i researched it!  Anywho…i am back to feeling my somewhat normal self now (YAY!).  I have noticed though, that you never truly realize how good you feel on a regular basis until you are sick like i was!  Wow!  Well enough of that…here is a picture of the beautiful sky from the back deck!

Simple Woman’s Daybook

Outside my window…Is a nice cool cloudy day…just the way I like it!  Perhaps i will venture outside today!

I am thinking…how excited I am to be starting this blog!  Thanks Tonya!

I am thankful for…my sweet and handsome lil man who is my everything.

From the kitchen…plan on grilling hamburgers and making potato salad for dinner…maybe pumpkin bread for desert!

I am wearing…the most comfortable black capris (danskin—tonya!), red ‘Thy Will Be Done’ tshirt and barefoot as usual.

I am creating…lasting memories for myself staying home with Jeremiah!

I am going…to TRY to go to bed early tonight….we shall see

I am reading…this blog entry!  I need to get back into reading…I will soon, right now just trying to get into a good routine.

I am hoping…this headache goes away, of which I am pretty sure is from lack of sleep!

I am hearing…XM radio ‘Spirit’ station and Jeremiah’s sound machine

Around the house…the kids are sleeping and all is calm and CLEAN!!

One of my favorite things…to spend time with Jeremiah

A few plans for the rest of the week:  continue to keep the house clean, work on organizing binders (MOPs, Wedding & Jeremiah school), Switchfoot concert on Friday and lots of rest on Saturday!

Big 'lil man

Well tonight Billy finished building Jeremiah's twin bed frame. It's definitely going to take some getting used to Jer being such a 'big' boy. I am so very proud of him though! Billy did a great job building it from scratch....and as you can tell by the picture....I'm pretty sure Jeremiah loves it too!
